Microneedling is not suitable for clients with the following conditions:
Active Skin Infections (herpes simplex, impetigo, or warts)
Active Acne or Rosacea
Pregnancy
History of Keloid Scarring
Bleeding Disorders
Recent Chemical Peels or Laser Treatments
Use of Accutane (Isotretinoin) within 6 months
Uncontrolled Diabetes

Recovery Time
It can take 3-5 days for skin to heal.
Days 1-3: Expect a sunburn-like effect with tightness, dryness, and sensitivity. Some redness, bruising, and temporary swelling may occur.

Avoid strenuous activities, Jacuzzis, saunas, and steam baths for 48 hours.

Use mineral makeup after 24 hours.

Sleep on your back with elevated head for comfort.
Days 3-5: Peeling, dryness, and flaking may begin; resist picking or scrubbing. Let old skin flake naturally and keep it moisturized.
Days 5-7: Resume regular skincare once irritation subsides. Continued improvement is common over the months.
Appointment Details
At Clinic:
Skin will be cleansed followed by the application of topical numbing cream prior to the treatment. Treatment is performed with a tool with very fine stainless-steel needles to create microscopic channels in the skin.

Suggested Treatment Plan
The number of microneedling treatments needed can vary based on individual skin concerns.
Here are some general guidelines:
Mild Concerns (Preventative or Maintenance): 1-2 treatments may be sufficient.
Moderate Concerns (Texture, Fine Lines, Mild Scarring): Series of 3-5 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart.
Severe Concerns (Acne Scarring, Deep Wrinkles): Series of 4-6 treatments, possibly more, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The exact number may depend on the individual's response to the treatments.
